RelyOn Nutec and TAC Healthcare, have announced a joint venture to deliver occupational healthcare services to RelyOn customers across the UK.
Under the agreement, RelyOn will continue to organise medicals, vaccinations and other workplace health services for customers. These will now be delivered by TAC on behalf of RelyOn in specialist facilities in Aberdeen and Teesside.
“Offering ongoing access to quality occupational healthcare is an essential part of the service that we deliver to customers”, said Lee Fenton, RelyOn Nutec commercial director, “however, with the upturn in energy activity, we’re also seeing an increase in demand for our services and have had to consider new ways to deliver a higher volume of appointments, while ensuring the same great customer care at competitive rates.
“This partnership with TAC means we’re passing the occupational arm of our business over to healthcare experts who have the resources to handle an increase in appointments, leaving us to focus on our core business of training”.

Under the agreement, TAC will continue to operate out of RelyOn’s Teesside training centre with minimal impact on the status quo. However, TAC will look to increase capacity over the coming months.
In Aberdeen, where RelyOn and TAC’s facilities are located within a mile of each other, delegates will be transported between facilities, where the greater resources available at the TAC medical centre will give RelyOn customers access to an increased range of services, including MRI scans, echocardiograms and more.
Lee continues, “TAC Healthcare have a strong reputation in Aberdeen with a clinical ethos focussed on high quality patient care which aligns with ours at RelyOn Nutec. I’m confident that this new partnership will offer huge benefits to our customers who rely on us to fully prepare their workforce to stay safe at work”.
“TAC Healthcare is delighted to collaborate with RelyOnNutec and contribute to their mission of ensuring workforce safety.” said Dave Hamill, Head of Operations, TAC Healthcare. “Our specialised medical services and facilities will enable RelyOn's customers to receive comprehensive occupational health support, which is essential for maintaining a safe and productive work environment."
