Leading global safety firm, RelyOn Nutec UK, has secured a £3million contract extension with a UK-based leading engineering services firm.
The five-year agreement renews the delivery of RelyOn Nutec’s Training Management Service (TMS), which oversees the training and compliance of the client’s personnel. It marks a decade long business relationship for the two businesses.
The new strategic partnership will see an upgrade to the current service with the implementation of RelyOn Nutec’s market leading software application, which delivers an integrated training, compliance, learning and competence management solution.
Personnel will also have access to the extensive RelyOn Nutec e-learning library with over 130 safety related digital training courses.
RelyOn Nutec UK commercial director, Iain Taylor (pictured), said: “Digitisation is a key focus area for our business and this contract extension, with expanded scope of work, reflects our commitment and drive to improve safety in a new digital era.
“Our strategic shift towards digitally enabled services and solutions, which was launched in 2019 with the acquisition of three digital businesses allows us to support our customers, through the challenges of a low-cost operating environment and through to energy transition.”
Throughout 2020, RelyOn Nutec expanded its wind industry training capabilities, adding GWO accredited training in its Aberdeen facility and developing the first GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) blended learning option in the UK.
With digitisation also a focus for many energy companies, RelyOn Nutec is well aligned to support its clients with tailored applications to automate compliance for both oil and gas, and wind sectors, as well as digital systems.
