Leading global safety firm, RelyOn Nutec, has further expanded its market leading digital training capabilities by adding a core oil and gas safety course to its comprehensive e-learning library. The Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) Further Online launches this week and is anticipated to be a key product by the organisation which has seen rapid growth in its digital training sphere over the last two years.
This new product has been designed to fulfil the requirements of the 2021 release of the new OPITO standard. The user-friendly product can be booked as a single course for an individual or in multiple license format allowing flexible deployment to operational personnel as and when required.
Torben Harring, CEO RelyOn Nutec, has welcomed the new release and said, “This OPITO accredited training course is a mandatory requirement for every individual working offshore in the UKCS. This update opens the course up to a competitive market, and we have been ready and waiting with our own digital product which offers customers exceptional value for money and delivers a more flexible learning experience for the user.”
Accelerated digital journey
The course is the latest in a line of e-learning titles from RelyOn Nutec, which uses cutting-edge digital technologies to deliver end-to-end competency solutions for safety critical industries. Following the acquisition of three technology platforms toward the end of 2019, RelyOn Nutec has lost no time during the pandemic expanding its digital capabilities.
RelyOn Nutec’s digital business aims to make training more accessible and relevant for its customers while reducing administration and training costs. Utilising a combination of e-learning, blended learning, virtual training, simulation-based training and SaaS applications, the company saw a growth in users of 230% last year - from 18,000 to 42,000.
Harring continues: “We have spent our time during lock-down further fuelling our digital transformation with the result that digital learning, simulation technologies and applications are now a fully embedded part of our service offering. We are well underway to becoming the leading competence house for safety critical industries.”
150+ titles of e-learning
MIST Online is the latest addition to a comprehensive e-learning portfolio which consists of over 150 digital titles, with 66 course translations and 20 blended course collaborations.
The MIST Online is a re-assessment of critical safety knowledge for O&G workers and is fundamental to the benchmark safety culture that exists within the offshore industry. With more than three decades of experience operating in this highly regulated sector, RelyOn Nutec is poised to support its O&G customers through energy transition, while delivering innovative employee lifecycle solutions to customers from all high-risk sectors, including renewables, maritime and hazardous industries.
