Our training partnership ensures that safety critical lifting training is available around the globe at the highest standards.

The Sparrows standard

Having worked in the offshore industry since 1975, Sparrows Group has established its position as a world-renowned technical authority in offshore lifting operations.

Delivered by experts who have hands-on experience in their fields, Sparrows training programmes ensure students reach Sparrows Group’s industry-leading standards. Training programmes are accredited to ISO:9001, OPITO and BFPA in the UK and API RP2D in the US.

Bespoke training and simulation

As well as offering a number of internationally-certified courses, the partnership also provides the ideal platform for bespoke training solutions that meet the client’s exact objectives. Training can be delivered at a Sparrows Centre of Excellence located at select joint locations and RelyOn Nutec training venues, or at the client’s offshore location.

We offer onshore coaching and conduct assessments on an advanced dynamic crane simulator to ensure your crane operators can react quickly and effectively to emergency situations and reduce risk in your lifting operations.

Our verified instructors and assessors can also conduct pre-employment assessments for the safety critical roles of rigger and offshore crane operator.
