RelyOn Nutec is an international company specialized in promoting the safety of individuals and organizations. We provide consultancy, education, and training to industrial and governmental firefighting teams, as well as professionals in the offshore, maritime, and wind energy sectors. With two training centers located in the ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, we prepare professionals and emergency responders to prevent and combat incidents in realistic training environments with authentic scenarios.


We are seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our team as a Restaurant Caterer/Chef. With a focus on healthy and nutritious meals, we strive to continuously improve our menu offerings and overall business operations. As the Restaurant Caterer/Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of our restaurant and catering function. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Staffing: Build and lead your own team of 2 - 3 dedicated professionals.
  • Rosters and Shift Planning: Develop and manage schedules to ensure smooth operations during our opening hours.
  • Menu Planning: Create innovative and diverse menus (sometimes Halal) that meet the needs and preferences of our staff and course participants.
  • Purchasing and Vendor Management: Oversee the procurement of high-quality ingredients and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Food Safety and HACCP: Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and maintain HACCP compliance.
  • Operational Management: Contribute to enhancing the overall experience of our course participants and optimize daily workflow.



Our restaurant caters to a diverse audience, serving approximately 30-50 staff members and 50-200 course participants for lunch daily. We prioritize the provision of healthy, nutritious meals, offering a variety of salads, wraps, fried snacks, bread, and soup.



  • Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a Chef/Caterer with a focus on menu development and culinary creativity.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the restaurant industry and the ability to drive business growth.
  • Quality and Safety Consciousness: In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP regulations.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Willingness to constantly seek improvements and introduce new ideas to enhance the dining experience.
