Across the full spectrum of safety and survival training, our highly qualified and experienced instructors understand the need for real-life, scenario-based training, and they deliver all our courses in a safe, controlled environment using state-of-the-art simulators and equipment.

From firefighting and safe lifting through to health and safety, well control and emergency response, all our training products, and services meet the national and international standards of organisations such as OPITO, NOGEPA, and the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association.

Oil & gas training courses on and offshore

We have delivered clear and concise training onsite on an international basis – onshore and offshore – for over three decades. Today, our offering combines scenario-based training, classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning. Our courses have been tailored to meet the needs of a wide range of specific roles offshore – from operators and maintenance contractors to crane ships, pipe layers and seismologic researchers.

In one case a global provider of offshore drilling services was experiencing significant variations in the training of employees and compliance issues.

The client is a global operator, managing thousands of employees on rigs worldwide. They found themselves in a situation that needed to change. Together with RelyOn Nutec, the client started looking at the training that was carried out internally. The conclusion was that the internal foundation for the training was not sufficient to ensure the same level of quality across the organisation. This led to sub-standard safety at a high cost.

RelyOn Nutec took over the responsibility of making training schedules across the company. We examined the standards already in place, before designing a tailored programme to suit its specific needs and to greatly improve consistency worldwide.

This case is an example of what cooperation between us and a client can mean for the general level of safety in an organisation.
