It is an entry level course produced by GWO which sets the standards for training in the global wind and renewable energy industry. This is a great option for those who have no previous experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. At the end of the training, delegates will have a basic awareness of the systems which will prepare them for working with on and offshore wind turbines.
If you are new to working with hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical systems or if you have some knowledge but not of their application in wind turbines, the Basic Technical Training module is for you.
Students will obtain awareness of the hazards working on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and how to control and mitigate these hazards. The course is relevant for personnel working both on and offshore in the wind power industry.
