Offshore Survival Introduction with HUET- HUEBA
Objective
Upon successful completion of all training components, in accordance with the CAPP Training Standard, trainees will receive a RelyOnNutec Canada certificate that is valid for seven (7) days offshore within a 12 month period from the date of issue and a digital identification card. The certificate indicates "Offshore Safety Introduction with HUET-HUEBA".

ITEMS REQUIRED FOR TRAINING:
- When checking in for training, please have your GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID with you (ie: Passport or Drivers Licences, etc.)
- Shorts, T-Shirt, and Socks for pool exercise
- Towels, shower facilities on site
- Lock for locker
PLEASE NOTE: Certificates CANNOT be issued unless valid Government issued ID has been presented on Day 1 of training for all RONC courses, including OPITO approved training.

Course Contents
The OSI course is designed to provide an introduction to emergency response training and procedures specific for offshore workers, both local and international. The Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) component will provide an understanding of the hazards of helicopter over-water transportation; knowledge of personal and helicopter safety and survival equipment; and introduce you to emergency response procedures designed to prepare you for water impact with a subsequent abandonment on the surface or egress underwater.
