Objective

Upon completion of the course, the delegate will be able to:
- Identify the different types of forklifts
- Discuss basic forklift operating principles
- Describe forklift safety requirements
- Discuss hazardous driving situations
- Understand the stability triangle
- Perform basic forklift operation procedures

Target Group

Personnel responsible for operating forklifts.

Note: Course duration may vary from 4 hours to 8 hours depending on location, number of forklift machinery for assessment, and class size.

Prerequisites

None

Examination

The delegate will be required to attain a minimum score of 70% on a written examination and be deemed competent on a practical assessment per forklift.
