Objective

The knowledge test is a quick method to confirm the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the test’s subject matter ECITB have knowledge only tests in the following disciplines below: Appointed Person Moving Loads Electrical Installation Electrical Maintenance Instruments and Controls Mechanical Maintenance Rigging Pipefitting Plating

Target Group

Personnel who are from one of the following disciplines - Appointed Person Moving Loads, Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance, Instruments and Controls, Mechanical Maintenance, Rigging, Pipefitting, Plating

Examination

The candidate has to achieve an 80% pass mark in the knowledge only test. If candidates achieve a 80% or higher mark they will receive a ECITB approved Certificate indicating the discipline of the knowledge only test taken. Achieving less than 80% in this knowledge test will result in a test referral

Course Contents

The candidate will take an online test, consisting of multiple-choice questions per discipline to assess their theoretical knowledge of the technical discipline. The candidate will answer the randomly generated questions from a large pool of knowledge questions.
