Objective
Update the course participant's understanding and skills to ensure their own and others' safety in a crisis situation and contribute to safe behavior."
Upon completion of the course, participants will have maintained and updated knowledge and skills in:
- Use of rescue sling
- Proper use of a rescue suit with air supply
- Helicopter evacuation (HUET) (see comments under additional information)
- Use of a life raft
Target Group
Offshore personnel in emergency response functions
Prerequisites
Basic safety training or equivalent comparable competence."
Active member of one of the following emergency response teams:
Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and/ or Search & Rescue Team
