Search and rescue - Refresher
Objective
To update and maintain knowledge, skills and attitudes in connection with the participants' emergency response functions in or relating to search and rescue teams.
Target Group
Persons with tasks in or relating to search and rescue teams. The course meets the requirements of the Norwegian Oil Industry Association for refresher courses to maintain basic knowledge.
Prerequisites
One of the following courses:
Search and rescue Team Course
Advanced Safety Training for Ship Officers
STCW Upgrading for Officers and Technical Personnel
Examination
None.
Course Contents
The course consists mainly of practical exercises, with emphasis on briefing and debriefing.
Tactical teamwork.
Smoke diving.
Fire-extinguishing techniques.
Search and rescue techniques.
Life-saving first aid
