IADC Online Rig Pass

Objective

The course is available in the following languages: US English; Spanish
The IADC's RigPass® program is an accreditation system offering a standardized safety orientation for new employees, preparing them for nearly any operating environment, whether onshore or offshore. This course not only meets, but exceeds the curriculum requirements for IADC RigPass®, matching the standards of the former SafeGulf and SafeLand programs, and including SEMS II training elements thus ensuring personnel are trained according to industry-defined safety and training benchmarks.
The primary goal of IADC RigPass certification is to provide new employees with essential knowledge of rig operations and safe work practices, ideally before they commence work. However, logistical challenges in the drilling industry may delay this training. Companies with internal programs are advised to implement policies to ensure their new hires complete the RigPass orientation at the earliest feasible opportunity.
This course covers topics ranging from General Safety to Marine Debris, over 18 modules. You are required to complete all modules before being issued with an IADC Certificate. Course duration disclaimer: This course is self-paced for the average person to complete in 8 hours. IADC requires a Picture ID and legal name for identification.
