Objective

The course aims to provide delegates with the competence required according to STCW-F Convention Chapter III, Rule 1 regarding Basic Safety Training for all personnel on fishing vessels.

Target Group

Fishermen admitted into the Register of Norwegian Fishermen as main or secondary occupational fishermen , or fulfill the requirements to be registered here. Persons who can document an offer of work from a fishing vessel, or are actively seeking employment on such vessels.

Examination

Practical requirements of skills according to STCW and a written exam.
