Objective

To train and assess delegates' practical skills and theoretical knowledge to the standards set according to ISO23818 and to identify and eliminate any bad habits in the safe operation as a Crane Supervisor.

Target Group

The Lifting Supervisor Training programme is designed for any personnel who are required to work as a Lifting Supervisor.

Examination

Candidates will need to successfully complete a knowledge assessment and practical assessment. Candidates will be awarded a RelyOnNutec certificate according to country specific approved Crane/Lifting Supervisor. Below are examples and should be agreed prior to course start: • UK – NPORS, CSCS • D - DGUV • NL – NOGEPA • DK – Danish Legal Act (AT Vejledninger og anvisninger), ISO23813

Course Contents

Health and safety legislation, as it applies to Crane supervisors. Theoretical knowledge of plant operations as a Crane supervisor. Crane supervisor's responsibilities, with regards to daily/weekly checks of machine. Familiarity with the equipment and use of the Operator's manual. Safe and best practice in practical plant operation methods. A rigorous practical and theory based assessment according to ISO23813.
