Objective

To ensure a candidate has the skills, knowledge and ability to correctly select, sling and lift/move engineering construction materials in accordance with appropriate industry and site specific regulations/procedures

Target Group

The Technical Trade Test (Moving Loads) is aimed at any personnel who are involved in Lifting operations in the onshore and offshore industries. If there is anyone involved in Moving loads that doesnt have a formal qualification, or have not had their competence verified they will be able to achieve this with the Technical Trade Test (Moving Loads).

Prerequisites

A Rigging qualification or previous industry experience

Examination

On successful completion of both the Knowledge Assessment and Practical Assessment, candidates will be awarded an ECITB approved certificate which is valid for 36 months

Course are conducted at RelyOn Nutec training centres at Aberdeen and Teesside

Course Contents

Knowledge Assessment:
Computer Based - 10 questions (Pass Rate 80%)

Practical Test:
Sling, lift and move an unequally weighted load through a restricted access to an identified location
