Objective

• Participants will be able to evaluate and stabilize trauma patients of all age groups. This is a critical time in management of patients; hence, this course is intended to teach the knowledge and skills necessary for rapid assessment, resuscitation and transport.

Target Group

This course is designed for individuals who are most likely to be first on the scene of a medical emergency such as fire fighters or emergency response teams. These persons require specialised knowledge and skills to effectively deal with life threating situations.

Prerequisites

A valid Advanced First Aid certificate.

Examination

Delegates are assessed against relevant agreed competency standards of ECSI.

Should delegates fail to meet these standards, RelyOn Nutec shall provide additional coaching to provide the delegate with as much of an opportunity as possible to meet those requirements.
