Objective

To develop within the candidate an understanding of the dangers of NORM and the skill to use radiation detection equipment and distinguish between the different methods of surveying in the field.

Examination

The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam. Candidates will have to demonstrate competency using a detection device.
