a Valid OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader OR a Valid OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader Further
The objective of the FOERTL Training Programme is to give delegates the opportunity to practice and be assessed on live fire exercises onshore that they would not be able to conduct in the workplace.
The FOERTL training course is for existing Offshore Emergency Response Team Leaders who are required to revalidate their OPITO OERTL certification by completing training scenarios which they are unable to undertake offshore.
Delegates must be in possession of a valid Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL) certificate or a valid Further Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (FOERTL) certificate
Following successful assessment of all the course content, delegates will be awarded with an OPITO-approved Further Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (FOERTL) certificate
Certification is valid for 2 years. Prior to expiry delegates must retake the Further OERTL course to remain certified.
