Objective

The aim of the CRO Emergency Response Training course is to introduce delegates to their roles and responsibilities as a CRO, during an emergency in a simulated environment.

Target Group

Experienced or new Control Room Operators (CRO) who require Emergency Response Training

Examination

Delegates will be awarded a RelyOnNutec CRO Emergency Response Training certificate and performance appraisal once they have successfully completed the training program. Validity is 3 years. Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless otherwise stated.

Course Contents

Theory: CRO Roles and Responsibilities during an emergency Intro to Emergency Response Situational Awareness Communications Emergency Procedures and Checklists Stress Management Practical: Introduction to the simulator equipment and software. A number of realistic emergency scenarios covering: 1. Threat to life, 2. Threat to installation, 3. Threat to the environment.
