Objective

The purpose of the course is to give the delegate knowledge to procedures related to launch, navigation and recovery of a freefall lifeboat as described in STCW code Section B-I/14 1.1 and 14 1.2 The Course is a Add-On to Certificate in Survival craft and rescue boats A-VI/2-1

Target Group

Personnel working on ships equiped with Free Fall Lifeboats or Conventional lifeboats.

Course Contents

The course contains following subjects to be treated theroetical as vell as Practical: Construktion, launching arrangements and davits, launching procedures and recovery procedures of Free Fall lifeboats and Conventional Lifeboats.
