Objective

LO1: Describe in general terms how the industry can affect the environment.
LO2: Describe the different ways in which the industry impacts the atmosphere and the control measures used to limit these impacts.
LO3: Describe the different ways in which the industry impacts the sea and the control measures used to limit these impacts.
LO4: Describe the effects of chemicals on the environment and the control measures in place to minimise these effects.
LO5: Describe the impacts and control measures of waste production
LO6: Describe the impacts and control measures of oils spills
LO7: Describe how businesses can measure their environmental impact
LO8: Explain the difference between the way onshore and offshore practices affect the environment
