Examination

The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam. To receive a course completion card, the student must attend the entire class and complete all class requirements, including all requisite topics and the minimum number of contact hours.

Course Contents

The topics covered during this training are: - Introduction to OSHA - Fall protection - Electrical - Caught in/between personal protective and lifesaving equipment - Health hazards in construction (including hazard communication) - Stairways and ladders - Materials handling, storage, use and disposal - Tools - hand and power - Scaffolds - Cranes, derricks, hoists, elevators, & conveyors - Excavations
