First Aid DGUV

Objective

The focus of this module is the practical application of first aid measures in view of the specific challenges in the daily work on and in onshore and offshore wind turbines and platforms. The training content ranges from the legal and medical basics, the safe handling of existing equipment and the available material, especially to the knowledge and application of processes and responsibilities of the respective rescue chains based on the basic rescue concepts in onshore and offshore wind energy.

Target Group

The Training is designed to provide personnel with the basic skills that will enable them to work in a safe manner in the wind industry and to meet emergency response training requirements for personnel new to the global wind industry. It is designed to accomodate personnel working both onshore and offshore.

Course Contents

In practical scenario trainings, we investigate possible occurrences and provide the participants with confidence in the handling of emergency situations; using the generally available equipment and facilities and in accordance with the generalizable requirements of the established rescue concepts of onshore and offshore wind energy.
