Confined Space Awareness/Entry

Objective

The aim and objectives of the Confined Space Awareness / Entry training programme is to ensure that personnel preparing to enter Confined Space are aware of the essential legislation/best working practices and safety requirements for Confined Spaces.

Target Group

This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding and knowledge of hazards and associated risks for persons required to enter a confined spaces.

Examination

RelyOn Nutec approved certification for Confined Space Awareness/Entry will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is three years. Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless otherwise stated.

Course Contents

Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas: Definition of Confined Spaces Hazard Recognition and Assessment Atmospheric Hazards Physical Hazards Code of Practices -Safe Working in Confined Space Roles and Responsibilities of Entrants Pre -Entry Consideration / Condition of Entry Safe Working Procedures Confined Space Entry Certificates JSA, PTW, Isolation Certificates Requirements for PPE and other Associated Equipment Emergency and Evacuation Procedures
