Objective

This course is designed to provide delegates with the underpinning knowledge on the principles of search and rescue especially from a command and control function and to enable them to participate in realistic scenarios to ensure they are well equipped and prepared to respond to real time emergencies that may occur in the course of their day to day operations.

Target Group

This course is aimed at emergency response team members who will be / are involved in search and rescue response to different types of emergency scenarios.

Prerequisites

Delegates attending this training course must have Basic firefighting training.

Examination

On completion of this course, a written assessment will be taken.
