Objective

On completion of this course, delegates will be able to identify and understand the labelling of chemical substances, be aware of how different chemical substances can cause harm in different ways. This course provides an understanding of how to reduce the risk of injury through safer handling and chemical storage by applying COSHH assessments. A higher level course is also available on how to perform COSHH assessments.

Target Group

This course is suitable for all staff working on a regular basis with hazardous substances.

Prerequisites

All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate.
