In this course you will learn about the goals and purpose of fall protection, including different types of falls, Job safety Analysis and the Hierarchy of Hazard Controls. You will be able to identify different types of passive fall projection. You will learn to explain fall clearance and arresting force, as well the purpose of Personal Fall Arrest Systems and Active Fall Projection Systems. You will be able to describe the purpose of decleration devices and connectors and how to inspect and maintain fall protection equipment. You will also be able to outline the goals of a fall rescue plan.
