In this course you will learn about electrical safety, including different sources and states of energy and how to measure electrical currents. You will be able to identify the purpose of different materials used to channel energy and describe area classifications and the role of workers. You will also list hazardous conditions and electrical hazards and describe how to treat burns. You will outline the Assured Grounding Program and Lockout-Tagout system. You will also be able to list electrical safety devices and different types of personal protective equipment.
