Objective

The objectives of the FOET (with EBS) are that delegates will be able to:
(a) Demonstrate, in a simulated environment, that they can use the safety equipment and follow procedures in preparing for and during helicopter emergencies - with particular focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching.
(b) Demonstrate that they can use basic fire fighting equipment effectively, and use self-rescue techniques in low visibility and completely obscured visibility situations e.g. smoked filled areas.
(c) Demonstrate that they could preform basic first aid.

Target Group

This OPITO approved course is designed for all personnel working on offshore installations.

Prerequisites

All delegates must be in possession of a valid medical certificate and a valid OPITO approved BOSIET (ER1P) or FOET (ER3PR) certificate.
