RelyOn Nutec Belgium is currently looking to hire a Senior Instructor responsible for our working at heights and advanced rescue trainings at our offshore & maritime training center, based in Ostend.

As a Senior Instructor you get to

· supervise training courses of a specialised nature

· make an active contribution to the policy and the development of the instruction group by training, monitoring, and coaching instructors during their work

· identify opportunities and possibilities for improvement in the realisation and/or adjustment of training courses

· identify, report and correct dangerous situations, dangerous actions, deviations and complaints according to the applicable procedure and actively contribute to resolving these

· maintain internal contact with the Planning and R&D departments regarding the preparation of and feedback on the training courses in order to coordinate and share knowledge

· maintain internal contact with the instructors about their functioning and development to advise and coach

· maintain external contact with training participants about progress during training courses and the observance of all safety aspects in order to coordinate

YOU

· have a professional safety and survival related background and you want to share your knowledge and know-how

· are skilled and trained in climbing (Working at Heights, IRATA, SPRAT)

· have first-hand experience

· are enthusiastic to present in front of groups both theoretical and practical trainings

· are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French would be an advantage

· are a team player but you also want to take the lead

· you are hands-on

· are a good communicator and versatile

· have strong organizational skills

· are not afraid of taking initiatives for continuous improvement and are eager to implement them throughout your team

· have the ability to work independently

· have computer skills and master the office package
