Objective

The participants shall know the tactics of fire fighting and extinguishing aswell as use of the
breathing apparatus.The result is satisfactory if the participant is able to demonstrate
firefighting in confined spaces using smoke diving equipment, alone or in cooperation with
others. The Training meets the Requirements of Regulations A-VI/I of the STCW-Convention
of 1978 as amended in 1995.

Target Group

Personnel who shall function as fire fighters onboard offshore installations.

Prerequisites

Valid Offshore Fire Team Member / Offshore Fire Team Member refresher. (The delegate go to the reception for certificate verification)

Medical Screening form to be made on arrival at the training center (verified by instructor in the classroom)

Personal ID (verified by instructor in the classroom)

Examination

None, but it is expected that the participants actively take part in all exercises, according to the
Requirements of Regulations A-VI/I of the STCW-Convention of 1978 as amended in 1995.
