Objective

Understand the legionella risks present within hot and cold water system, how to identify them and the necessary controls to eliminate or reduce them. Course material is wholly focused on HSG274 Part 2 Second Edition.

Target Group

Personnel carrying out (or managing) legionella control measures in hot and cold water systems. The course is designed to give a blend of technical and legal knowledge necessary for the role. The course is targeted at maintenance staff, plumbers, water hygiene technicians, risk assessors commissioning engineers and managers. The course is City & Guilds Assured and comes with certification, for those successful in assessment.

Prerequisites

IPreferable: Legionella Awareness Training / Experience working on hot and cold water systems

Single multiple choice question, open book assessment
Pass rate: 15/20 questions correct
Re-sit Question for those achieving 14/20 on the day
