Examination

The qualification is assessed through a 40 question open book online multiple choice exam and a 3 hour observed practical exercise.

Course Contents

Delegates will be taught how to design, specify, install, fault find, test and inspect electric vehicle charging points for the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. Course content: • How to install electric vehicle charging equipment for domestic locations. • Application of statutory legislation. • Applicable installation and earthing methods. • Completion of suitable installation risk assessment as required by the Code of Practice. • Calculating system design and installation requirements. • The testing and commissioning of the installation.
