Examination

The theory of the course is delivered in the classroom, but there is an emphasis on demonstration and hands on practical experience with relevant equipment wherever this is possible.

• Dangers of electricity and means of safe isolation.
• Earthing systems and types of supply.
• Transformers & LV distribution.
• Motors, starters & control circuits.
• Generators & standby supplies.
• Circuit configurations & overcurrent protection.
