Objective

This half day course consists of theoretical input on the safe operation of the DONUT device, followed by practical demonstration by the instructor. On completion the delegate will undertake two practical training exercises with the escape device to gain confidence in its use at escaping from a height.

Target Group

The training is designed to familiarise the user with the safe operation and practical use of the DONUT personal escape descent device.

This course is approved by Donut Safety Systems limited.

The training may be taken as a standalone course or added to a Survival course

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites for this training course, but delegates should be physically fit to partake in this training.

Examination

Successful delegates will be issued with a course completion certificate; it is recommended that this course is repeated every three years to refresh the knowledge of the user.
