Objective

The course is delivered in a combination of theoretical and practical exercises in aircraft abandonment and basic sea survival. Delegates will continuously assessed and coached during practical exercises in their competency in meeting the training objectives.

Target Group

The course is designed to provide essential basic knowledge and practical experience of Survival techniques for air crew to enhance their chance of survival in an emergency situation. The course is designed for aircraft crew and satisfies elements of training to improve safety

Delegates will undergo theoretical and practical training in Appreciation of emergency situations Deployment of life rafts In water survival techniques Re+ righting overturned life rafts Life raft boarding, techniques and safety procedures Rescue from the water by use of a helicopter rescue strop.
