Skilled Person Low and High Voltage - 4 stars - Stipel A

Objective

In the course Qualified Person LS and HS - 4 Stars of RelyOn Quercus you will learn to prevent hazards that can be caused by electricity. A skilled person regularly performs electrotechnical and/or non-electrotechnical work on or near high and low voltage installations, under the responsibility of a work supervisor.

Target Group

The Skilled Person LS and HS - 4 Star course is intended for employees whose job involves performing electrical work on or near high- and low-voltage installations.

Prerequisites

To follow the course Vakbekwaam Persoon LS en HS - 4 Sterren you must have an electrotechnical professional education at level 2 of the Wet Educatie Beroepsonderwijs. This level corresponds to a lower electrotechnical education (lbo/lts-e) but you can also achieve it with sufficient knowledge and experience from practice.

Examination

You can complete the course with a theory and practical exam. You have two options for completing the NEN 3140/3840 competent person course:

Course Contents

The course Qualified Person LS and HS - 4 Stars includes the following topics:
Relationship of NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Decree and European standards such as EN 50110
Operation of low-voltage installations NEN 3140
NEN 3840 Operation of high-voltage installations
Knowledge of the risks involved in working on or near low- or high-voltage electrical installations
The five essential safety requirements for commissioning and decommissioning electrical installations
Knowledge of the structure and function of electrical installations
Skills in assessing and creating a safe work area
Skills in applying the correct procedures in electrical work
Theoretical backgrounds of electrical power technology
Use of tools aids and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Consequences of overloads and short-circuits in electrical installations
How to act in the event of deviations from normal operation with electrical installations
Securing electrical installations on the basis of switching plans
Commissioning installations on the basis of (uniform) switching messages
