Objective

The course Qualified Person LS and Terminal Groups HS - 3 Stars of RelyOn Quercus focuses on working safely on and near electrical installations. The course is supplemented with specific knowledge from the high-voltage directive NEN 3840 on the commissioning and decommissioning of high-voltage motors and machine transformers.

For good operational management, the employer must ensure that his employees have sufficient electrical expertise to carry out the work adequately and safely. This course also covers the difference between high and low voltage with respect to business operations.

The STIPEL assessment requirements for personal certification of electrotechnicians according to STIPEL 2000:2024 form the basis of this course. A designation Vakbekwaam Persoon LS and End Groups HS - 3 Stars, is increasingly required.

Target Group

The course Qualified Person LS and Terminal Groups HS - 3 Stars is meant for employees who have or will get the designation of Qualified Person and are charged with installing and maintaining electrical installations according to NEN-EN 50110/NEN 3140/NEN 3840. In doing so, they occasionally work on high voltage end groups. The course is interesting for personnel working in industry. Think of power plants, food industry, blast furnaces or wind energy.

Prerequisites

To attend the course you need to have an electrotechnical professional education at level EQF 2. EQF stands for European Qualification Framework. This level corresponds to a secondary electrotechnical education (lbo/lts-e or mbo level 2), but you can also achieve it with sufficient knowledge and experience from practice.

Examination

You can complete the Skilled Person LS and End Groups HS - 3 Stars course with a theory and practical exam. There are two ways to complete the course:

Certificate of Participation.
