Course Contents
This course gives candidates a practical understanding of the features of drilling a well and the fundamental principles involved in maintaining well control. The training reinforces the critical body of knowledge and set of job skills required by rig personnel during drilling operations.
On completion of the e-learning and online assessment, delegates are required to book into a RelyOn Nutec IADC accredited centre to sit the final test through the WellSharp Testing Database. Successful completion of both the course and final test leads to accreditation by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
This course equips rig crew personnel with the knowledge that enables them to play an active role in preventing, recognising and responding to well control incidents during drilling operations.
