Objective

- To train personnel through theory, simulation and practical demonstration in the techniques of Management of Major Emergencies

- To review and test company procedures relating to Emergency Response.

- To identify deficiencies in the site Emergency Response.

- To assess OIM's as competent to manage major emergencies in line with the OPITO standard.

Target Group

This course is aimed at OIM's, superintendents and managers onboard offshore facilities who are required to manage major emergencies.

Prerequisites

Attendees will normally hold the position of Emergency Manger or Deputy Emergency Manager and should have undertaken an Awareness in Management of Major Emergencies Course. Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
