Objective

The GWO Service Lift User Training - Virtual Reality is a 100% digital course with a human instructor. The GWO Service Lift User training module enables the participant to use a lift in a WTG correctly. The training will provide the participant knowledge of multiple guiding systems and lift types. They will learn about their responsibility in the safe use of lifts in WTG. Furthermore the participant will learn to perform the necessary inspections prior to use and emergency actions – and when needed take guidance in relevant manuals.

Target Group

Personnel working on WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) within the wind industry where the use of lifts is required for transportation of personnels and equipment inside the WTG(Wind Turbine Generator).

Prerequisites

All personnel participating in GWO VR- Service Lift User Training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating. Delegates shall have created a personal delegate profile in WINDA and provide their own WINDA ID prior to completing the GWO VR- Service Lift User Training.

Examination

By successfully completing the course, participants will demonstrate their basic level ability to take full responsibility for the independent and safe operation of WTG lifts. They have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform lift operations in accordance with industry regulations and best practices, effectively minimizing the risks and hazards associated with their use.

Course Contents

Options:
A. VR Remote. (Independent with remote support from trainer)
B. VR Onsite client. (Trainer will support onsite)
C. VR at training centre. (Group will be trained at training centre)
