To receive appropriate and approved basic training in fire fighting and fire prevention as set out in table A-VI/1-2

Target Group

For seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board ship as part of the ships complement with designated safety of pollution prevention duties. Following the IMO model courses.

Examination

Demonstration of competence, in accordance with the methods and the criteria for evaluating competence. Specification of minimum standard of competence in fire prevention and fire fighting, according to table A-VI/1-2
