Fully funded training for delegates who wish to certify for the oil and gas or wind sectors at RelyOn Nutec in Aberdeen.

The funding has been awarded by ETZ Ltd as part of the Scottish Government's North East Recovery and Skills Fund (NEERSF). The support will allow eligible workers who live in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to update their certification or achieve new certification for the energy sector free of charge.

Delegates from the north east of Scotland can book a funded place for the following courses which included enhanced options to improve employability:

    • Oil & Gas – BOSIET, MIST, OGUK Medical, Fit-to-Train, Bi-deltoid Measurement and Knowledge Test
    • Renewables - GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT)

We want as many people as possible to go through the training, but there are a few conditions that must be met prior to applying:

    1. You must reside within Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire.
    2. You must fit the following criteria:
    • Currently working in oil and gas, and looking to recertify for the wind sector
    • Seeking first certification in energy (either sector permittable)
    • Seeking to recertify in oil and gas (previous certification must have expired over 90 days ago)

If you think you fit the requirements, complete the online form below. If you're unsure if you are eligible, give our bookings team a call on 08444 142142 to discuss your individual circumstances.

  • Post Training Support

Following completion of the above training, RelyOn Nutec will provide delegates with unlimited access to e-learning titles for 24 months, allowing individuals to add to their existing skills and further enhance employability.

Individuals will also have a user profile generated within our Rider system detailing all completed training and certification.  This system is accessed by key global clients and may open recruitment opportunities.

Open days will be hosted at a later date which will offer recruitment teams from operators and service companies the chance to meet individuals who have benefitted from the funded training courses. Further information about these will be provided to successful applicants in due course.

  • How to Apply
