CBSP & HUET - Basic Safety Induction, Emergency Training & Helicopter Underwater Escape Training

Objective

CBSP - Qualify the delegate for duties on board of Offshore units, providing basic knowledge about safety measures and protection on board, in accordance with the recommendations insert at the items 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5 and with the table 5.5.1 and 5.5.6 of the Resolution A. 1079 (28) from 04/12/2013, of the International Maritime Organization – IMO.
HUET - Provide knowledge and verify theoretical and practical competences of helicopter passengers, in aircraft emergency situations and abandonment, in the water or on land.

Target Group

CBSP - Non seafarers.
HUET - Workers and professionals in the maritime and offshore segment, who use helicopter as transportation in their work activities.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites:
- Be more than 18 years old;
- RG and CPF (brazilian);
- Passport (expatriate);
- Submit Occupational health certificate (ASO) or certificate of good physical and health condition;
- Submit proof of education (minimum elementary school);

Examination

CBSP - Multiple choice exam with minimum passing grade of 60%.
HUET - To be considered approved, the student must demonstrate competence in all the practical exercises provided in the training curriculum.

HUET

The content of this training follows English (UK) standards, and covers the types of helicopters used offshore.
Theory: 4h
• Pre-shipment procedures;
• Security procedures for shipment;
• Procedures in flight;
• Safety procedures for disembarkation;
• Hazards associated with the helicopter;
• Safety measures applied to helicopters;
• Hazards in case of emergency landing;
• Additional problems in case of water landing;
• Preparation for emergency landing in the water;
• Preparation for emergency ground landing;
• Actions to be taken after emergency ground landing controlled;
• Actions to be followed after controlled landing in the water.
Practical: 4h
• Helicopter evacuation practice on the surface;
• Submerged helicopter escape practice;
• Submerged upside down with 180º overlap with window without stopping.
