Proficiency in Fast Rescue Craft (FRC)
To provide the delegate with the knowledge and skills needed in taking command of, and launching and handling of a fast rescue craft.
Mariners and offshore personnel
Note: If an STCW endorsement is needed, a completed USCG/STCW Basic Training program is required. Delegates must be at least 18 years old and able to speak and read the English language.
Practical assessment is used for skills and a 25 question exam is taken with a minimum passing score of 70% requirement. If failed, the delegate has two more attempts at passing (different tests). If all three exams are failed, the delegate must retake the whole program over.

> first aid considerations
> performance drills on compass, search patterns, rescue
> special situations
> location aids
> performance drills on towing, pacing, use of pyrotechnics
> knowledge and performance evaluations
