Objective

The UK Offshore Legislation Refresher course serves to refresh individuals working in Health and Safety Management positions offshore of current UK offshore legislation and how it will impact on their roles

Target Group

For those that require to refresh their knowledge of UK offshore legislation to fulfil the requirements of their position including those based at corporate headquarters, Offshore Installation Managers(OIM), asset and facilities managers, safety advisors, supervisors and safety officers.

Examination

On successful completion of this course, delegates will be issued a RelyOnNutec UK Offshore Legislation Refresher certificate.

Course Contents

MODULE 1: The Making and Enforcement of Health and Safety Law, EC Legislation, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, REACH Regulations, CLP Regulations, Pollution Prevention & Control. MODULE 2: MAR-PFEER-DCR, Pipeline Regulations, Safety Case Regulations and Working Time Regulations. MODULE 3: LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, Working at Height and Confined Space Regulation. MODULE 4: BEIS, IAMSAR, SOLAS, IMO, CAA and new and updated legislation.
