Lifting Gear Inspection

Objective

This course will enable the delegate to gain a better understanding of the LOLER Regulations and the practical experience of inspecting lifting Equipment and Accessories. This course is a combination of both theory and practical content

Target Group

With the history of the failure of lifting equipment, whether its mobile cranes tipping over, or slings, shackles or eyebolts failing for various reasons, inevitably leading to Human Error.

Your companys first line of defence should be Pre-Use Inspection. Many companies now employ a second line of in-house defence, in that they have carefully identified staffs who conduct detailed inspection of their lifting equipment, backed up with an inspection report.
