Forklift Truck Operator 2.5 day existing operator RTITB

Objective

To introduce candidates to the correct operation, safe practices and maintenance of Fork-lift trucks. This course is aimed at personnel who have previous experience operating forklift trucks but have not completed any form of initial training and will incorporate theoretical and practical exercises, with the emphasis being on practical, as well as theoretical and practical examination leading to a Nationally recognised certificate.

Target Group

This course instructs delegates who have experience of operating a forklift, but have never been trained on the correct and safe use of forklift truck operations to R.T.I.T.B. standards.

Certificates are valid for the relevant tonnage category dependent on the capacity of the Forklift Truck used during the training session, at any site within the UK.

Category: up to 5 ton, 5 ¿ 10 ton, 10 ¿ 20 ton & 20 ¿ 50 ton capacity

Examination

On successful completion of this course, delegates will have a good knowledge and understanding of the correct and safe use of forklift trucks and have shown there competencies through both practical and theoretical assessments based on the RTITB Standard.

RTITB certification is valid for the relevant tonnage category that was covered during basic training, at any site within the UK.
