Objective
The course consists of a combination of theory and practical exercises in basic emergency procedures.
The course consists of a combination of theory and practical exercises in basic first aid techniques.
Delegates will be continuously coached and assessed during the practical exercises in their competence to meet the training objectives.
Target Group
This training programme is designed to provide basic training and competence in immediate actions in the event of an incident on board an aircraft.
The course is designed for aircraft crew and satisfies elements of training to improve safety.
Prerequisites
No prior training is required to attend
Examination
Course completion certificate will be issued to all delegates who successfully complete the training programme
Course Contents
Delegates will undertake theoretical and practical first aid training in:
Principles of First Aid
Casualty assessment
Recovery Position
Resuscitation techniques .
Delegates will undertake theoretical and practical fire and smoke training in:
Awareness of aircraft incidents
Understanding the chemistry of combustion
Dealing with fire situations
Identification and use of fire extinguishers
Working in smoke filled environments
